The Temple III, Mindo

La gentillesse du personnel, la propreté des chambres, le côté cosy et coocoon !

La décoration était vraiment jolie, l’emplacement très calme. La chambre était spacieuse, avec salle de bain et toilette également.

L’amabilité de certaines personnes du personnelle. Sur 4 jours du séjour 2 jours d’eau chaude et 2 jours d’eau froide. Le personnel n’est jamais présent à la réception, pour répondre à nos questions, avoir un petite déjeuner le matin, ou même pour accueillir des clients qui son prévenu d’arriver ( nous avons croisé quelqu’un qui attendais depuis 45min avec son sac à dos devant la porte, heureusement que nous avions le numéro de l’hôtel pour aider cette personne à contacter le personnel qui n’est jamais présent.) Cela est vraiment dommage…

The place is in good condition, clean and good standard. In the Mindo scale it is at the edge of the village but not in the jungle, which means it worth less. Now, Dec.2025 it was rather empty, so I think they are overcharging

No issues but there are better options for this price

Lovely and comfortable small hotel with a fully equipped kitchen, nicely decorated common area and clean rooms and towels. Located at the centre of Mindo.

A very nice, small hostal within walking distance to the center. Single room was spacious and clean. ‘Tamara’ was very friendly and hospitable! The kitchen and communal area were very beautifully decorated. Shower was hot and had good pressure. Fast Wi-Fi speeds. Apart from the outside noise, it was generally a calm and relaxing hostal. This was one of the better ‘hostals’ I have stayed in.

You could hear some noise from outside, so best to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I didn’t like that they wanted to take a picture of my passport - seeing it to verify should have been sufficient.

This accommodation in Mindo was absolutely lovely. When I booked, there was only a single room left, but I was so happy I chose it because the place is very tranquil and having my own room made it even more peaceful. The hostel is very clean, with beautiful surroundings and a nice view. You wake up with birds chirping. There’s a kitchen you can use and the common area is super cozy — the swings around the dining table were such a fun idea. The girl at reception was very sweet, caring and helpful. The location is great — Mindo is small so everything is walking distance. Jumbo’s chocolate tasting is just a few minutes away, and also Casa Amarilla, the terminal, and the main street. It felt like staying in a peaceful little temple. I loved it!

La limpieza y la atención de Juliet, muy atenta siempre a lo que necesites. Me encantó el lugar muy acogedor.
