Pathetic, very unprofessional, fraud, looted us. The manager at the home stay is a big fraud. Be careful and don’t get lured by the nice reviews on the websites, it’s all a trap to which I fell victim. The manager and his team are a group of thugs in varanasi, all they want is money money and more money. The manager first told SHIV SHAKTI HOME STAY is full and then took us to some other guest house and asked us to adjust in a single room (8 people in a single room ) When we resisted they misbehaved with our ladies in the group and threatened that we won’t be able to leave varanasi as they will arrange for our cremation then and there.

Owner of the hotel is very good and cooperative.
