The location, the garden, the views were great !

It was advertised as having various amenities that in fact were not functional. There was only one electrical outlet in the whole house for powering telephones, camera batteries and small appliances, such as the toaster and coffee maker. The air conditioning system worked fine, but there were no window screens to allow you to open the windows without mosquitoes entering. The Wi-Fi was not connected as was reported to be available in the listing. There was no light available in the second bedroom. The light switch was covered with a plate, but there was no light switch to allow the light to be turned on. There were also no lights available in the living and dining area because none of the outlets were functional and the overhead light did not turn on. There was no light outside in the back patio. There were no curtains on the small bedroom. There was only one window curtain in the large bedroom, leaving a large sliding door with no light or privacy protection. The unit was supposed to have an operable washing machine but this appliance was located outside and we’re covered with tarps and were not obviously ready to be used by guests. Some of the beach towels had stains and holes on them. The beach chairs and umbrellas that were available for use were located in an unprotected area under the deck and were in very bad condition and very dirty. When we brought these issues to the attention of the property manager, he promised to send an electrician to look at the electrical problem, but there was absolutely no follow up from him.
