2 bedroom apartment next to the beach in Elviria, Marbella

Location was great.

The host - Homewatch - were very rude. If you make a booking late at night they do not pick up if you call and they have no answer machine service and do not respond to messages. I had to chase them to reply to calls and quite frankly their customer service skills are non-existent. No meet and greet, just a door code, they told me they are too busy to meet people? It was not easy to find the correct apartment complex and block, and the map they sent was for the wrong area. The beds were not made up properly and I had to ask several times to get sheets and duvet. They told me they could only deliver these the next day!!! They told me no duvet is necessary as it is warm in Spain in the summer, and a sheet is enough! Other people's food left in the kitchen, they said they would remove this, but never did. Overall a really bad experience using this company.

The support of the Homewatch team was fantastic. Each time we had reason to contact them they were responsive and supportive. The terrace space really suited our needs and gave us another living space. Two of our party worked remotely for part of our time there and wifi speed and table space was great.

One of our party is not a coffee drinker and likes her tea. There was no kettle to boil water. Not a big thing but would have been nice if it was available.

Great location, really nicely furnished including the balcony and very clean.

On occasion at night with the AC on, a smell of sewage.
