Fantastic location, great facilities, homely accommodation. Lovely touch having eggs & snacks for guests.

Nothing not to like, only recommendation would be lighter bedding during warmer months.

they had left some things to eat, which we did not use, but that was a nice touch. The location was perfect, could not have been better, lovely big bay windows- we could overlook them setting up the street market early in the morning

You entered the property along a dark and rather unpleasant side entrance ( which was not well maintained), then up some metal stairs. From the photo it looked like you would enter via a rather more grand central staircase. The decor was dated and the outside of the building was scruffy.

This apartment has been lovingly prepared, and furnished by Lydia and it lacks for nothing, indeed she had put milk and butter in the fridge for us and there were lots of other condiments, coffee, sugar and so forth in the cupboards: extremely generous of her. As it happens we met Lydia on arrival and she gave us the keys but her key box system works well and being able to park to unload right outside her flat is a big bonus. The entrance to the flat is unprepossessing, through a side door and up an iron staircase obviously built originally as a fire escape but don't be put off by this, the flat itself is spacious, light, well heated, fully equipped and ideally situated on Broad Street for exploring the wonderful town of Stamford. Lydia and her partner Ash are extremely helpful, considerate and charming - we cannot recommend this apartment highly enough - it is quite simply ideal!

There were one or two very minor and fixable defects that we have mentioned to Lydia which she will sort out. We did recommend she wrote a guide for her guests on some practical matters to do with the flat and its equipment, the wifi code and so forth.
