This is the review along with attached pictures as evidence regarding my recent stay at this property. I am a frequent user of Booking.com, having made many booking purchases over several years. Please also note, although I tend to always review my stays, NEVER have I left a negative review prior to this, every review prior to this has been 4-5 stars. However I/we was quite alarmed this property was allowed to be rented out. I would also like to add we was told that compensation was offered to us - it wasn't! I feel this property was completely mis-sold by both Booking.com, and Artisan Stays. We are having extensive building works done to our residential home, this resulted in us unexpectedly having to move out, hence needing somewhere safe and comfortable for us and our dogs. We paid a total of £1,766.64 for 7 nights at this property (including £50 early admission fee, and £300 supplement for our dogs). As you will see from the attached pictures along with each description, it's fair to say that this property has not been inspected prior to us coming by the landlord, or the managing agent Artisan Stays! I would also like to add the 2 properties we have booked since through AIRBnB at half of the price havent had any of these issues, and are far superior! 1) All of the Blinds (pic attached) in the lounge were snapped or broken, making the lounge completely visible to people walking past, hence agitating the dogs also, and being on a main street, giving us no privacy. We improvised by finding wall pictures to wedge up behind the blinds (pic attached). We do have pictures of all the windows if required but am limited on how many I can attach to this email. 2) When making this booking we were very clear (on the phone Artisan Stays) how important it was for us to have a 100% secure garden for our dogs, we were assured that this garden was 100% secure. As you can see from the picture attached the garden is definitely not secure!
