Punta Ala - TERRACED HOUSE WITH DIRECT ACCESS TO THE BEACH

We loved the location, up on the hill above the beach and each room has a window to the ocean side. The view is gorgeous! The rooms are tight, but with a separate room for each person, we had plenty of room. There is a lot of closet space, and we loved the wood construction. It felt authentic and hand crafted from an earlier era. The TV in the living area swings to many positions and internet and streaming went very well.

These are tips for the next traveller. Our cell phone coverage with Vodafone and TIM was spotty right at the door which made it tough to unlock the door using the website upon arrival. We had one person outside the building to unlock while another waited by the door to open it. Once we got on the WiFi, we didn't have any more problems, plus there are doors out the back we mostly used to get to the beach. We needed bug spray to deal with the mosquitos, but that was very manageable -- just don't forget to bring it along to the beach or for a hike. We accidentally turned off the water heater thinking it was the heater control for the house. Once we turned it back on the showers were very warm. One of the showers leaked out the door, so watch out for keeping the door shut tight. Be aware that once the season ends, the restaurants in the area close up and you'll need to bring food with you to eat. We were not well prepared the first night but brought food back with us for the other days.

Prime location. Amazing water views from all bedrooms. Lots of clean linens, towels, and comfortable furniture throughout.

Place was not well-cleaned. Dust, spiders, ants and lots of jumbo flies. Also, although appliances looked new, the air-conditioners stopped working on our 2nd day, and the washing machine never worked.
