Sweet Sandy Beach - 1 minute walk to Mediterranean beaches

The Apartment is very clean, the bed and the couch are very comfortable. The shower is huge with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Getting in was a snap and the hosts are very friendly. The smart TV is big has Youtube/netlifx, etc The kitchen has everything you need and the fridge is huge. There is a terrace for eating outside which we did every lunch, we would have done it every meal, but in December it gets a bit chilly in morning/evening luckily the apartment is HEATED so we were always cozy. The beach is a 2 minute walk and the pier with the restaurants, cafes, and bars is a 10 minute walk along the beach. There is a huge supermarket filled with local meats, cheeses, wine and fresh produce 5 minutes away. We didn't drive, but there was plenty of parking up front if you're into that kind of thing. Alicante is close, about 20 minutes drive, or you can jump on one of the many buses downtown like we did. They take 25-55 minutes depending on the bus. If you like hiking there is a nice trail about 400m from the apartment which leads to the famous lighthouse. We saw some cool old anti-aircraft installations on the way. The beaches are long in both directions. We tried to get to the end but after 2 hours walking we gave up, went back to the pier and had some tapas.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Since I was carrying heavy luggage, I was glad to realise that this is an elevated ground floor apartment with only 3 steps leading into it. The location is a minute walk from the main scenic promenade and 3 minutes from the beach. There is a supermarket very close by, about 5 minute away. The main harbour area and restaurants are 20 minutes away. This is a renovated apartment which is well designed and equipped. There are windows in each room with plenty of natural light. There is also a large balcony at the back overlooking a landscaped yard. The street is quiet and even though there is an area which is frequented by kids towards the back of the building, it is not noisy at night. The location is perfect for long walks or cycling along the coastline. The hosts are welcoming and responsive to queries.

Everything was great for a sole traveller on an extended stay. Be aware that the main bus station in Santa Pola is a 30 minute walk away. Taxi apps work in Alicante but not in Santa Pola just yet. These apartments are not sound proofed, so you can hear your neighbours quite clearly, but thankfully I did not visit during high season so the building was mostly quiet during the week. I would say the bedroom is slightly small for 2 people, but a sofa bed is available as well. There is a window in the shower, so be aware of this when showering with the lights on ;)

The location of the apartment was great for us. It was on the edge of town with a lovely walk along the promenade to the bars and restaurants.

The only thing that could have improved our stay was a kettle as we like to drink tea. Other than that, everything was fabulous.

The apartment was really nice and high spec. we were very pleased with everything overall. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed. Would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was a little walk from the harbour; however, the walk was very nice.
