The home from home feeling, the attention to detail, the tv was huge, the lovely way it felt so calming and the beds were the comfiest ive ever slept in.

Avoid like a plague, the heating is terrible, the house was freezing when we got there, rang the host and there was no answer. I managed to sort the boiler as the pressure was too low. But then heating will only lasts for 60 minutes then it would turn off, if you want it to heat again you’ll need to go to the lounge and press the buttons in the thermostat to get the heating up and running again (that’s what’s on the instructions) meaning just is aware and possibly programmed the thermostat in such a way that after 60 minutes the heating will stop just to cut bills. We couldn’t spend another night as it was too cold as we had kids. Be wary that the deposit the host charges is something you may never get back as the host will come up with issues like a damaged button on remote control, a hole on a towel, artificial flowers laying on the floor, a crumpled leaflet, stained oven holders (I’ve attached all the images he sent trying to not give us back our deposit for transparency sake, even lied about soiled linens needing replacement. He will fabricate these then calls it damage to furniture and will seize your deposit. So overall not a great experience and will advise no one to stay at this property. Advertised as if you can park 2 cars, but you can barely drive into the gate as the gate is literally the size of your vehicle so there’s a risk of scratching your vehicle or damaging your wing mirrors when entering so it’s false advertisement as you risk even parking 1 car into the property.

The host need to stop being dishonest ( I don’t it as it seems all pre-meditated), face the reality that a few guests had complained about the heating here on their reviews, he needs to sort the heating and stop putting the timer to run for an hour then the heating cuts off just to cut costs meanwhile guests and their kids/ family languish in the cold house.
