Game of Thrones base at the Flax Mill

The property is stunning!! Honestly couldn’t believe it when we turned up. There was 17 of us who came from England and Ireland to get together for a pre Christmas get together. We couldn’t ask for a better place. The games room was great, the property itself had so many amazing rooms and the features such as the counties on each bedroom, the paintings and attention to detail. We would love to return. Though it was was so private, it was a close though drive to shops and places to see. Great cooking facilities. We felt right at home

House was huge with loads separate living spaces. Bedrooms were all fab and beds very comfortable! 15 in our family group and would recommend for family break. Host provided us with cots for 2 babies and helped us out on few occasions with heating and people arriving back without a key!

Outdoor areas would be great if tidied up a little! Gas hob had issue with gas pressure which made it little tricky to cook for 15 but we managed!

We cooked our own witch we new before we went but the owner supplied all the ingredients and all top quality bacon sausage etc fergus could not do enough for us all,

Very friendly host. Property has fun activities to do - games room especially was thoroughly enjoyed. House is perfect for a big group, and beautiful scenery of the river.

Internet connection around the building and games room isn't great.
