Thornton's Sea View Cafe & Guesthouse

I like the view. It’s overlooking the entire Siquijor town. The cafe also has binoculars you can rent out for 20php and you can see ships to and from the island. Most of the property’s lights are solar-powered so plus points for energy conservation. Aside from good food, they also have a trampoline so kids and kids at heart can enjoy jumping around. The seating area and parking space are huge so you don’t have to worry about your vehicle’s safety or if you can be seated. The owner is great and the entire staff is helpful and accommodating.

Nothing serious but the network signal is a little weak. I worked through my entire stay and sometimes, I get little to no internet which is understandable given the guesthouse is in the mountains. The guesthouse is still under works so there is no wifi provided but the view while working is the best. They only have 2 rooms at the moment with no A/C but who needs one in the mountains, right? Both rooms have CR but the smaller one still needs water pipings installed so you need to fetch water from outside for your bathroom business. The smaller room is really small so you can’t really move around but the bed is comfy and there is a small desk you can work or write on next to the window overlooking the town.

The view is out of this world. Simply amazing! Awesome service, close to the port. Very peaceful. Loved every moment!
