Where to begin? The location is great, conveniently located 25 mins away from the Cancun airport. The entrance to the property is sophisticated and welcoming, yet not ostentatious. The property is tucked away from the main road and you feel in a bubble, away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun & PdC. The décor is tasteful and the focus is one's wellbeing and nature. The main pool is not too deep and the temperature was ideal. The beach is beautiful: warm temperature, clear water with little gulfweed (I went in early March), and white sand. There are multiple beach beds, all with an available umbrella for those seeking shade. The food was delightful, having eaten in all 3 restaurants, plus they feature excellent cocktails. The room was magnificent. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and got an upgrade to a second-story oceanview 2-bedroom suite. It boasted a social area with a balcony, another side terrace with a hammock and a plunge pool, the main bedroom with a king-sized bed, another bedroom with 2 twin beds and bathroom, and a bathroom with 2 closets, his-and-hers sinks, a shower, and a bathtub. They provide hats, kaftans, sandals, bathrobes, & a beach bag for use during one's stay. The water pressure (I'm a stickler for this) was excellent, as was the towels' quality. The mattress was very comfortable and the goose-feathered pillows were a dream. The A/C was potent enough to cool the large bedroom despite the outside warmth and humidity, plus, there is a ceiling fan available as well. We enjoyed a couple's massage at Guerlain's first spa in Latin America, as well as a sunrise meditation and yoga class. But the pièce de résistance is the staff: well-manicured, warm, friendly, courteous, and extremely attentive. Truly a delight.

this is being very particular one day we got a bit unlucky and had poor service for breakfast but i feel this was an exception and not worthy of any real critique the food in woodend - the meat is cooked amazing . i felt some of the sides /accompaniments lacked a touch of flavor ( pork ) . but again that’s being very picky

The location is great and feels secluded, staff we’re all excellent. We had a beach side suite which was spacious and straight onto the beach. The best bed I think I’ve ever slept in!

This hotel has great facilities, staff, great food but it’s very expensive especially for food in an evening, you are there to relax so you don’t leave the hotel, so you have to eat there.

Every part of our stay was perfect down to every last detail! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive—we didn’t have to lift a finger :)The staff literally took care of everything. Food was excellent in every regard and the property was immaculate. We’d return to stay at Maroma without a second thought.

The service was fantastic. It rained at lot every day of our trip but the staff was so nice and accommodating we still had a great stay.

Wonderful experience in every way. The attentiveness of the staff, the authenticity of everyone we met, the excellent food, comfort of the room were all outstanding. But, the most special part of the experience was the subtle Mayan influence that clearly, for those of us who are healers, found quite wonderful. We celebrated our 36 years of marriage in Maroma.
