Hotel Almati Inn - Near Delhi Airport

The staff were friendly and it was a cheap place to sleep before catching connecting flight the following morning. It was a 10 - 15 min drive from the airport.

Even though the sheets looked like they were clean, the rest of the room was not. The bathroom was pretty nasty with stains on the tiles, basin and vanity, and there was more water coming out sideways from a leak in the shower spout (that they had tried to repair by tying a plastic bag around it.) than there was coming out of the end. Even though there was a "Western style" sit-down toilet, there was no toilet paper and the one towel provided was the size of a bath mat. When I reviewed what was included in the room, I noted that it said that there was soundproofing, a landmark and quiet street views, but after I finally got to sleep (with the aid of ear plugs to drown out the beeping horns and blaring Hindi music from the little shop in the grotty alley below.), I woke the next morning to survey the view of the same grotty alley and an expanse of corrugated iron roofing held down by bricks...hardly a landmark! All I wanted was a hot shower and a place to sleep, so I guess I got that, and the price was cheap. Sometimes it's better to pay a little more for toilet paper and being able to walk across the room without going "EEEeeew!"

The rooms were huge

The toilets were dirty and not maintained. There rusts everywhere. The bedsheets were dirty. The blanket and the bedding were old and not cushiony at all. I was travelling with my baby and it was difficult.

Over all it was a great experience and very good stay
