GBThe property is 5 minutes walk to the main road for public transport and 15 minute walk to MacDonalds. A mini supermarket two minutes walk from the house opens early and closes late. Very quiet residential area. There is a beautiful well kept garden at the back and fully equipped good size open plan kitchen diner. Good size comfortable rooms and a brand new bathroom containing both shower and bath tab. Also had a complementary basket of fruits and water along with the coffee and tea. Which was nice since we got in quite late. The landlord made us feel welcome, was friendly and happy to take in our feedback. I am sure the place is spotless clear now!
The house was quite dusty looked like the landlord was not expecting us or had recently redecorate and not hovered or dusted afterwards. The windows and window frames so old and dirty. Also the process of handing the keys was not well managed. No prior instructions were given to say it was self checkin so we got to the property and it was dark. Even though we stated our checkin date and time, we did not receive the actual address and instructions on how to get in until we had driven round and round for over one hour. The confirmation details on booking.com don’t provide the actual street name just the house number and post code so we thought we had the wrong house! to think you have taken my money and still don’t thing to provide the full details on how to get to and inside the property until one hour after the agreed check in time was unacceptable. Also we wanted to change arrival time to earlier in the day but landlord did not respond to telephone or text messages. All this happened after 9:30pm! Checkout instructions ( which we had to request for in the morning because these were not provided on arrival) were ridiculous as we were asked to collect all the rubbish and dirty towels to specified location in the house before leaving! Don’t get me wrong, we naturally clean after ourselves but that was plain rude!
GBIt was clean, welcoming, and had the homely feeling to it.
Nothing. We loved everything about it and would go back again.
