There was no water during our stay.

The house was in a good location which was close to Mall of Africa. The host was good at communicating and gave us the entry and exit code well in advance which made our movement easier.

The house had cockroaches and was not cleaned when we arrived. The house needs to be fumigated. The host is aware of this issue of cockroaches before. We had to do our own cleaning because it was unhealthy for our little child. The living couch/ Sofa is broken and needs replacing. It was very uncomfortable sitting on it and it is not in the same condition as advertised. The wardrobes in the rooms were broken. The kitchen was moulded due to water liking from the sink and it created a bad odour in the house. Mattress were stained and needs replacing There were no cleaning stuff in the house and we had to buy our own

The unit was clean.

The place and experience were a total letdown. There was one almost finished toilet paper in one toilet. We had to contact the host to ask for a toilet paper. He had to purchase it and had it delivered at around 20h00. The unit is clean but extremely basic. It also needs some maintenance. The shower door and bedroom cupboards are falling apart, and the main bedroom window is broken. Towels are all in a cupboard of one bedroom. Basically, a guest needs to be opening things to find stuff. If I were looking for this type of experience, I would have gone to a friend's house or even booked via Air bnb. This unit does not certainly match the standard for the price they charge. We didn't have a restful sleep we were looking for. The complex is noisy. At some point, I was woken up by a strong smell of cigarettes getting into the main bedroom, I had no idea where that came from. Our stay was really terrible. We came out of there tired from lack of proper sleep. Total waste of money, to be honest.
