I was very ill with breathing difficulties.. There were only feather pillows and duvets which set off my asthma. We had booked for 2 nights but could only stay the one night. There were no t-towels. We found the room cramped and kept bumping our heads on the sloping ceiling.

"Fantastic place to stay if visiting the locality"

This was a true hidden gem........ Spotless, warm, quiet and everything you needed provided.

The directions..... we arrived in the dark, and although I know Horley quite well, finding the actual accomodation would have been a major issue had it not been for a few local dog walkers who pointed us in the direction

"Small but perfectly formed."

8.0

The Cotswold Retreat had everything we needed for a short break. The bedroom and bathroom were really well appointed, and the coffee station was a very useful addition. Outside, the patio area was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the private garden

Very little not to like about the property. The fan needed fixing (and it was very hot), and we couldn't get a signal on the tv. However, we found that on Mondays and Tuesdays there were a number of local closures which limited places to eat in the evenings and some visitor attractions also closed. With a heatwave forecast we decided to travel home the evening before our official departure time missing both heat and traffic.
