"Lovely three cottage stay in the countryside perfect for a group - excellent host"

10.0

I landed on one of the sunniest weekends we have had in Ireland this year and the cottages were just absolutely beautiful, Raymond (the host) has planted flowers all over the grounds and it was just like heaven. He has a little mowed out walk-way going all the way out the back too which I would highly recommend for a morning walk. Raymond was a 15/10 host, he left us welcome packs in each cottage (we rented all three for a hen for two nights) with wine, bread, local butter, etc. and he even helped me set up extra beds as extra people were coming, no problems at all. He was so kind and fun taking our photos before we left/gathering sits for us to sit in the sun together and said the place was ours for the weekend. We sat and chatted for over an hour while I waited for my friends to come on the day, and had a cheeky glass of wine too which was just so nice. I'd recommend a stay here if you like somewhere in the countryside and the quietness (exactly what we wanted), but it's also very easy to get to Belfast if you want a night out (which we did on the second night, but make sure to pre-order cabs with a company, we used fona cabs as value cabs charged nearly double). There was no rush from him the day to leave which we all appreciated with the sun out. He even gave me one of his sunflowers to take home when I made a joke about mine dying (which it did haha) - thank you Raymond for a wonderful weekend in your beautiful cottages.

Honestly can't fault anything, everyone had a lovely weekend and Raymond was a star and very easy to deal with.
