Steps to lake & Supermarket in Wanaka

The location was excellent. The house could do with a bit of work, the garden is very unkempt and the property itself wasn't the cleanest. We had a nice stay and no real complaints, just expected more for the price.

Perfect location. Warm home.

Very run down exterior. Not a great first impression. Inside was warm and adequately clean. But the facilities need a good refresh. More seating in the lounge would be good. Only one couch for 2-3 people to sit comfortably.

The house itself was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen and lovely bedding. Some nice touches made it a comfortable stay. Great location within easy walking distance of the shops and lake.

When we drove in we thought it was an abandoned house! The garden was overgrown , no garden access at the back and the outside of the property was very untidy. The advertised hot tub was an old fashioned bath tub and the fireplace was unusable due to all the ash in it 😞 Also one 3 seater sofa for 6 guests is definitely not enough.

Guitar was a nice touch. Good WiFi. It’s in a great location for walking into the town.

Not much to dislike, there was some loud music from one of the neighbours on our first night but they stopped it before our bedtime.

How spacious it was and quiet.

No coffee tea or sugar provided and the shower was disappointing.

The situation was good

It was totally run down. It was advertised as 2 bathrooms + a hot tub. One bathroom was a tiny shower in the laundry the main bathroom was not clean and very sub standard. There was no hot tub unless they called the bath a hot tub. The garden was like a jungle and gave a very bad initial impression. Not enough glasses, plates or cutlery for 5 people. Only enough seating in the seating area for 3 people others had to sit on dining chairs

The house is cosy and well equipped. It comes with a cosy, quiet garden. The house is newly renovated outside and inside and there is nothing to hear from the nearby backpacker

Excellent service . Place was spic and span except for the bathroom . Felt was at home .

Just wish when they cleaned up the bathroom after the previous guest , they didn’t leave the window open . A lot of flies were in the bathtub and floor.
