"Peaceful, quiet & stunning scenery over the Loch & fields."

Fully fitted kitchen. Good quality range of saucepans. Unusual in small accommodation. Very well thought out space, very well equipped and super comfy double bed with its own reading light separate to the overhead lights. Bonus. Shower big enough to park and wash a scooter. Double veranda & much outside seating. Perfect parking. Peace & quiet.
No trivet. Nowhere to place any hot pans or dishes. Sadly pod facing the wrong way. It looks straight out onto the drive way & the house that’s in the same car park. No privacy. Had to keep curtains closed. Shame about that, but still very peaceful & quiet.

Absolutely loved our two week stay at Loch an Eilean Pod. The pod is well equipped and has everything you need. It was clean, comfortable and although we had reservations that staying in a pod would be too much for two weeks, having not stayed in a pod before, we were very much proven wrong. Linda was a very welcoming, exceptional host and it was lovely chatting to her daughter too who lives close by. It was our first time visiting the beautiful Island and the pod would be our first choice to stay in again, we were very sad to leave. Thank you Linda.

Great place to stay in South Uist. Short drive from Eriskay and Lochboisdale ferry terminals. Good location. Excellent grocery store nearby. Very nice, private, location close to small loch and sheep grazing closeby. Pod was perfect, clean and well equipped and nice outdoor space. Would highly recommend.

Loved the Pod it was super comfortable and being next to a loch was amazing to watch the sunset over the water. Very friendly the daughter that stays next door to it very kindly took me to the co-op, had a great laugh and was made very welcome. I highly recommend it.
