GBI had a lovely overnight stay here in the Sailor's House, a brick-built self-contained room, one of several converted farm buildings around a central courtyard. I liked the rustic, seaside-themed decor and the lovely toiletries supplied in the well-laid-out shower room. Supplying a small bottle of local milk in the handy fridge was also a nice touch, as was the coffee machine although I did not use this. My pre-ordered, beautifully cooked breakfast was delivered to my room by one of the charming owners, with the option to eat it at the table in my room, the table outside my room or at the large table in the barbecue area in the courtyard. The location is perfect for anyone attending Glyndebourne and is easy to find, being just off the A27. I was very grateful that the owners were able to accommodate my request for an early check-in. If I had been staying for longer than one night, I would certainly have booked in for one of the treatments offered in the Snug.
