AnandMai Ghar - A Homestay in Gwalior

I was on a business trip and found this luxury apartments. The room decor and interiors are just amazing. The staff is very attentive and helpful. They also send local intenary which is the best thing. I had a very comfortable stay. This is located at a very prime area and in the city. Must stay!!

I just wish I could have stayed for a couple of more days post my work was done.

The property was not easy to access and the approach road was very bad. On arrival we couldn't get into the property as there was no one there and the registered phone no was not working. The apartment was musty like it hadn't been aired in a while and sheets didn't look particularly clean. There is no help at hand and the kitchen is not stocked even with the basics. I would not recommend this for tourists it may work for people looking to stay longer.

We stayed in room no. 2 on 1st floor - it's more like an apartment - it has a living room, 2 bed rooms, 1 toilet & kitchen (complete with cutlery, microwave, induction plate, kettle, refrigerator etc.). It is spacious, clean & well maintained. Next morning we met the host who appeared humble & gracious. Host family stays on the ground floor.

The house is located very close to an extremely busy railway line & hence the frequent train noise keeps company. Unless you are an extremely sound sleeper, you won't be able to sleep much. Toilet is quite small & cramped. No tea / food facility was available on the premises.

Great apartment. The host was super friendly and the place was neat and clean. The hot shower in the bathroom was great. Also all the places are near by.

We visited the property in the month of October for our family trip. The hotel is a luxury apartment with some exquisite interiorior and fixtures. Clean rooms. The Pooja cleaner girl helped us to bring some groceries from the near by place. The hot shower was a plus. We did enjoy our comfortable and centrally located stay.

There was a glitch in tv connection later it got solved. Thanks

This homestay was a fantastic place to stay in Gwalior. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and all of the staff were extremely helpful. Of all the places we have stayed in India so this was my personal favourite, especially due to having a comfortable lounge to hang out with my friend.

As other reviews have stated, it is next to a train line, but you don't hear them after midnight, so it isn't really a problem unless you want to get a really early night.
