One of the best places we stayed in Sicily. B&B very well run, you can see the hosts know what they are doing. Our room was spacious with a balcony (table and chairs) and private bathroom. All spotless and very comfortable, exactly as shown in the pictures. Mattress also very comfortable. It is in a residential building and there is some parking available in the complex, but check with the host where to park because some spaces are for residents only, and it's not very clear if you don't speak Italian. The location is perfect for the archaeological complex (literally 5 mins walk) and the church of San Giovanni (catacombs). There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby (we ate fairly well at NoBu around the corner, limited menu though) but ask the hosts for recommendations - although I haven't been anywhere in Sicily where I didn't eat well so take your pick. Ortigia is max 30 mins walk, easy to do as it's a flat walk. There is public transport but we didn't use it. Continental breakfast was really good, with some staples and fresh croissants and cake. There is a kitchen with basics appliances, enough to make hot drinks during the day/evening; a microwave, crockery, and cutlery if you want to have a take-away or just make some simple food. The fridge has space allocated to each room. There is also a balcony with table and chairs. The host was really lovely, very friendly and helpful - we had an early departure and sorted a the breakfast ourselves but she rushed to deliver the fresh croissant, which was much appreciated! I highly recommend Eder Home and I would stay there if I ever visit Siracusa again

nothing, all was good. Worth mentioning there is a small step to access the bathroom, for those less able.

Clean place close to archeological museum. Good communication with the owner.

Sara, the owner, is a welcomed person and always ready to help. B&B is located 5 mins walking from Parco Archeologico Neapolis and 20 mins waling from Ortigia. The area is quiet and parking is free. Sockets are placed next to beds.
