I was able to adjust the temperature in the property to my liking.

I could not gain entry to the apartment upon arrival as the entry code was not set properly; one of the reasons I chose this apartment was because of the complimentary wine - I requested chardonnay or malbec, the only wines I drink. Pinot Grigio was provided. I gave it to a friend since my request was ignored. The bed is uncomfortable, it dips and slants - back hurt for days. The couch is uncomfortable, so I sat in the lounge chairs over my 5-day stay. This was a working trip and there was not enough lighting in the apartment - most of the overhead light bulbs were not functional. Proper lighting would have been appropriate since I indicated it was a work trip. The building has thin walls and ceilings. I heard every step and sound above and outside the door. The silverware provided is child size. The owner/property manager/host has emailed me multiple times after my stay to give a review but the requests are caveated and formatted as a quid pro quo. >> "It was a pleasure hosting you in Charlotte. Thank you, Fayez" I wish more energy was given to ensuring I could gain entry to the property so I was not standing outside in the cold and rain for half an hour (did not allow early check in) trying to reach Fayez, waiting for him to reset the code, and then him putting me to work to recheck the setting. That all should have been prepared BEFORE my arrival. He spoke on the phone like he cared and felt bad I was out in the rain and cold (waited 6 hours to check in from out of state arrival) but his actions and the lack of prep showed he did not.
