Our stay was horrible. Older reviews mentioned mold in the bathroom and somehow they did nothing about it. They charged 150£ security deposit in case something broke. Literally everything was already broken. This small apartment is a one bedroom which they converted to fit 5 people. There’s 2 king beds in one small room, the beds aren’t clean. There’s closet is broken. Fridge was gross to the point u can’t even put food inside.

Beautiful decor, good space and it’s in a beautiful location

The shower has mould which made us uncomfortable to use and there isn’t a shower head in the bath. Also the balcony wasn’t cleaned before we arrived which is unfair considering occupants are asked to pay a cleaning fee when booking. There was also a few damaged items.

The arrangements in the apartment was good. The kitchen utensils were of good quality.

One of my worst experience in check in. The check in time was 4 PM and the key collection is almost a mile away from the apartment. I reached with family and bags at the key collection center (gas station) and I was told that the code was wrong. I ended up waiting 45 minutes to get my keys. Finally when I checked in, the apartment was stinking due to stinky water accumulated inside the vacuum cleaner. I had to clean the floor and put perfume for us to stay. When I was waiting on the road side to get my keys, Maihom did not even bother calling and checking with me if we are doing fine or not. They left the entire responsibility on a poor cleaner who was running around from one property to the other. Even booking.com was not of any help in this situation.

The stay was perfect. The host was incredibly responsive and ensured a seamless check-in process.

The property was clean and comfortable for my family. I appreciated the beds being in the same room since I have young kids.

I didn’t feel comfortable using the shower in the bathroom because of the mold.

I like that it was close to the City centre and was able to move around freely in good time. The ambience when we first arrived was okay, It was clean and comfortable until we noticed some faults later in the evening. It has a good location and good for content creation.

Our stay at this apartment was unfortunately not as comfortable as we had hoped. The bathroom had no window, and the extractor fan was not functioning, making it difficult to ventilate after use. With only one toilet available for four guests, we had to find alternative ways to remove steam before the next person could use the bathroom, which was inconvenient over a four-night stay. The beds were also quite uncomfortable, with the springs making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Some of us found sleeping on the floor preferable, while others experienced back pain from using the beds. Additionally, the air fryer was not working—possibly due to a fuse issue or an operational problem. Another inconvenience was the key collection process. After a long journey to Birmingham, I was informed that I had to pick up the key at a separate location, which was not ideal. Likewise, having to return the key at a different site while rushing to catch my flight added unnecessary stress. A key safe at the property would have been a much more convenient solution. Overall, while the apartment had potential, these issues significantly impacted our experience. Improvements in ventilation, bedding quality, and key access would greatly enhance future stays.
