"Great base for exploring the South Downs."

Very cosy and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Bed was very comfortable.

Shower was a little tricky to get temperature right but we worked it out in the end.

"Close to sea and South Downs national park."

It was all perfect. Communication was excellent from the outset and instructions for finding the place and gaining access very clear and given in good time. There was a hamper with prosecco and delicious goodies when we arrived and plentiful provision for drinks.The house was beautifully, tastefully decorated with a lot of care given to matching furnishings in all rooms. Fresh flowers and high quality soaps added to the feeling of luxury. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained and the appliances all high quality with everything you need to cook your own meals if desired. The beds and settees were very comfortable and the duvets, pillows and bed linens so cosy it made it difficult to get up in a morning!! We were visiting family in Brighton so didn't really get to spend much time in the area so can't really comment on that but the area around the house was quiet with an Indian restaurant and pub nearby that provided meals. The free parking place right outside the house is a real bonus for the Brighton area. We had a fabulous 3 nights in Sompting and would highly recommend Tony and Sarah's place. .

Nothing major, but being techno phobic pensioners the ultra modern hob and microwave/oven proved a challenge and maybe a simplified set of instructions to operate these appliances would be helpful for some like us.

"The BEST of the best by the sea"

We have stayed at many a guest house but this was by far the BEST! The owners have thought about everything and it shows. The home was perfectly appointed with everything you could hope to need or want and then some…

It was a magical stay!

Lovely stay. Ample room for 4 adults clean, tidy and all the facilities you would need. Even a lovely hamper with proseco and nibbles waiting for us on arrival. Thanks for a great short break. Would highly recommend.
