Newton Hall Farm cottage, hot tub garden views Nr Lytham Ribby

We loved our new year stay in this cosy farmhouse cottage! The cottage was spotless and is in a peaceful location, with a lovely pub down the road and not too far to drive to lytham and Blackpool. Hot tub was set up and ready to use which was brilliant and the kids particularly enjoyed the sheep running past the garden at breakfast time! There were so many extra touches with flips flops and towels for the hot tub to milk and biscuits in the kitchen. The kids loved all of the boardgames provided. Jayne was a very friendly host and we can’t wait to stay again!

The property is very clearly well maintained. It has everything in it that the average family would need (we are a family of 5, so we would have been able to cater to all of us) and some! Check in was really easy as it was done by lockbox. I panicked as we were running late, but it was really easy to just update the time on booking.com and let ourselves in. The bedrooms are well sized, all have decent quality beds inside and towels etc, and don't have a hotel vibe. Every last detail has been thought about. Hot tub was set up and ready to go which was an excellent addition, and we absolutely loved it! (don't make the mistake we did and get tattoos on day 2 so you can enjoy it for your entire stay). Toilet/bathroom was lovely, and had all the things you would need like shampoo, conditioner etc, which is rare to find! There is also so many little touches like a real fireplace, which was stocked well and ready to go to, as well as little welcome pack at the tea and coffee station, full size fridge/freezer and washing machine, so you can get and do the essentials! If you are looking for a property that feels like home, and don't mind being a short distance from the big towns and touristy bits like Blackpool, this is definitely the place to go!

There is not really anything I can say we didn't like during our stay. ~To be really picky however, the front gate (for me, but I am a 5 foot 2 weakling) was a little difficult to open to get the car in. But if you have the strength of someone 5 years and up, you will get in no problems at all!

Would be an idea to have a pagoda or canopy for hot tub during winter months and would have used more!

Everything. The property exceeded our expectations in all aspects. There were so many little touches which made our stay easier, from flip flops for the hot tub to the delicious biscuits on arrival. We loved our stay and cannot rate it highly enough.

Newton Hall Farm Cottage is the ideal place to stay for families. Our kids (and dog) absolutely loved the garden which was a big enclosed green space with amazing views. The cottage has an array of restaurants and takeaways on hand and is a short drive to Lytham, St Anne's, Blackpool or Poulton. There is also a great children's park 5 mins walk away. The property had lots of amenities to make us feel comfortable including towels, tea & coffee, shower products, board games, dog bedding and flip flops. The property itself is a really cosy home and we didn't want to leave.
