Great location in Galway

The location was perfect, walking distance to Eyre Square, shopping - anything we could have wanted!

The ONLY thing that was a hindrance for us - which is really no fault of the property or owners but something to note if you are planning a visit - the first floor bathtub/shower is very difficult to get into if you have any kind of mobility issues. The tub has a very high entrance and our mother (73) had issues getting into and out of the tub safely by herself.

The location was prefect, a really short walk into the centre.

Really not great value for money in my opinion. There was wardrobes in the bedrooms, however, only 1 hanger? 2 out of 3 of the showers were unusable, due to them running off an emersion boiler. I think, in a house that accommodates up to 12 people, it is unreasonable to expect that no body will be running taps in the kitchen or other bathrooms, while waiting for the boiler to heat up. In our case, 10 people had to use the one shower that did have hot water. For the price of the accommodation, the furniture was pretty basic. There was not enough comfortable seating downstairs in the living room for the amount of people that the accommodation houses. In terms of crockery, there was no trays for the oven, I think I counted 9 mugs (not enough for all of us to have a coffee in the morning), the oven was dirty. In terms of bedding, the duvets were very thin, considering we visited in November which is a cold time of the year - none of the radiators were switched on when we arrived in the house either, and so it was very cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Galway and stayed in a great location. But for the price we paid, I can’t say the property lived up to expectations.

Location and size were fantastic. It fitted our whole family and we didn’t even need to use heating. The lockbox with two keys were super convenient for our large group. House was modern and clean. Very peaceful. But how close to town was fabulous. It also felt secure and safe.

Location was excellent, just a short walk to the main parts of town. Loved the security being within a walled complex as well as the garden courtyard feel.

Parking was an issue. One car parking permit is allocated to each booking but there was not always parking available so ticketed section had to be used.

The location of the property is fantastic. It is a good value for a group who doesn’t plan to spend much time at the property.

It was not conducive for seniors or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. There are no bedrooms or bathrooms on the ground floor. There was nowhere our whole group of 11 could spend time together. It was very difficult to schedule showers for everyone given the constraints of hot water.

Great location in the centre of Galway. Host kept us advised by message of all the necessary details. Property was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was adequate with good appliances and utensils.

Shower on first floor is over bath and head needed to be pushed up and held by hand during showering. Blind in first floor bedroom needs to be fixed. Some more coat hangers would be helpful. The living space was a bit cramped with only 5 comfortable seats and some stools. Not sure how 12 people would fit in if they were all there at the same time. Only one car parking permit for area outside of property though public car park not far away.
