Stunning Villa with Pool, Table tennis, Table soccer and a Pool table

Big Villa that is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The pool table, table tennis table and pool were great for entertainment throughout the day Marcus is an excellent host that will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay

Well situated, local shops within 5 mins by car. Air conditioning worked. Owner was a nice guy and was as helpful as he could be whilst local to villa. Allowed us early entry into Villa with a charge of 30 euros towards an extra cleaner to speed things up. Worth it if you have an early flight. Has an orchard which was nice to see. Pool water a lovely temp and aside from the aesthetics, was lovely to cool off in. Has a washing machine which was useful.

General cleaning quite basic, not great. Wi-Fi was not working so owner installed temp modem and telephone comp were supposed to come and fix. We waited in, they never showed up. Not the owners fault, unreliable telecom comp. As temp one working, we didn’t think it would be an issue but temp one very very temperamental and didn’t work most of the time. No shower screens or shower curtains so the shower water literally soaks the floors. Pungent urine smell in main bathroom from day 1. En-suite window had a broken lock so this couldn’t be locked so had to wedge a coat hanger to stop window being opened from outside. As there was no safe in property and broken window locks, we had to lock every internal door and hide keys, but every single key opened every door. I didn’t feel as safe as I have at other properties we have rented. Malta may have little to no crime as advertised but coming from the UK, i prefer windows and doors that properly lock when our possessions are inside. Front door lock very temperamental so only my Husband could unlock or lock door. Wet paint on top pool step so we had blue paint on legs some days. Grey gungy scum mark around complete inner edge of pool, very noticeable when pool level dropped. Chunks of paint missing from pool bottom so looked tatty but could be wonderful.Electrics tripped in kitchen and no access to fuse board. Owner away and tried to organise someone to come to property to sort out but as he had no wifi, his messages not received. Nobody came so no fridge, tv, modem, toaster/ kettle etc for 2 days until Husband forced entry into basement room and switched fuses back on. En-suite toilet leaked first day so this couldn’t be used. Pool steps both ends broken and sharp on all edges. Large staircase to back right of villa has no handrail so very dangerous if you have young children. Not family friendly or suitable for people with mobility issues as lots of concrete stairs. Very musty smell throughout.

The villa has great potential! Big house, with nice pieces of art, large rooms. The swimming pool is great for spending time with a group of friends. The host was kind and prompt.

The main issue with the villa is lack of cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. The tap in the main bathroom didn’t work well and the overall smell was uncomfortable because of the lack of fresh air (no suitable window to fresh the air). It is necessary a general renovation for all in this villa which has a great potential!

Characterful property with a good pool and plenty of space both in and out. Air con was a must and worked fine and games facilities were an important bonus. Not in a resort and its too hot to walk far but we found a number of good restaurants within 15 to 20 mins slow walk. We also had access to many sports channels enabling us to watch the olympics in the late aft / early eve

The property is a bit tired in places but nothing major and it didnt detract from our stay. Attention to detail on minor things would have helped eg better lighting around the house, hairdrier not working, sticky door locks and very loud and squeaky doors (kitchen & back door)

The property was nice,big,clean and spacious. The host was very helpful making arrangements & made sure we got in at almost 1am & when we had any question or queries he was only a message or call away, even letting us checkout late because we had an evening flight.

A quiet spacious villa. Plenty of outside amenities. Air con in all rooms which was good.

The water pressure in the shower could be better.

Marcus was a wonderful host and dealt with our needs. There were a couple of issues he was keen to get resolved for us urgently and he did that with full attention. He was extremely warm, welcoming and kind and it felt very good to arrive in a strange new place and feel completely assured and taken care of. Also very welcoming of our dog!!!

There were no shower curtains put up so that the floors in the bathrooms get too wet. It was very slippy and dangerous with all the water inevitably coming out of the shower area. Hopefully this can be addressed to keep it safe when using the shower in the future.
