Beautiful and Cosy 3 beds home for 6 guests near Doncaster Racecourse

We had clear instructions from the host. And all met our expectations. House was well maintained and clean. Made our stay enjoyable.

The house was really nicely decorated and felt like new throughout. The shower and bathroom were particularly great! It was a good location for visiting some friends and hiking in the Peak District. It was also great to have a parking space on a drive at the back. Good value for money too having an entire bed bedroom house.

All was good

It was bright, airy and plenty of space for 6 adults. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay, down to towels, handwash, iron and hairdryer. Even had fans in every room (bonus for my hot flushes lol!) Very close to the Co-Op and takeaways. You'd never be without food for sure! Great for parking behind the property and in front of the house (we had 3 cars between us). The TV is HUGE, it's brilliant for watching Netflix! The owners were very responsive via phone and text - big thumbs up from us.

Perhaps cutting the grass in front of the house (not essential or major) but would make it look more attractive from the outside. The downstairs toilet could do with being bolted to the wall (again easy fix). Also, the pillows were very wafer thin. I might be being fussy here, but I felt like my head was flat to the mattress, I borrowed a cushion from the settee and put the thin pillows on the top of the cushion, it worked and I slept much better the second night.
