Had everything we needed for a short stay in Helsinki, and our apartment had a small balcony which was great in the good weather we had. Not sure if all apartments have this though? Very centrally located to visit Helsinki and beyond.

No lounge (but we knew that when booking and reflected in the price). Could have done with a couple of bedside tables, as we had to leave stuff on the floor overnight.

Excellent location in an area with lots of shopping and restaurants, and within easy walking distance of historic centre and train station. Apartment was very clean and functional, comfortable enough, well heated, and situated on a quiet street, in a quiet building. It felt very much like a home away from home. Prompt and friendly email communication with manager.

The beds could have been more comfortable. And the washing machine was out of order. Management was very helpful and I'm sure if I had told them right from the start they would have fixed the issue, unfortunately we only realized it when we tried washing our things several days in, leaving shortly afterwards. Lesson learned: always check all appliances on day 1! Serves me right.
