Studio Apartments with Terrace near Sea - Angela's Apartments

Let me start with the positives, since there were just a few The apartment is well equipped, it's very nice inside and the localisation is great - close to the sea, close to the grocery store etc. The a/c unit works great.

Now, onto the negatives. On one night, we were sitting on the porch, drinking wine and talking. Then, one of the owners came out and claimed we were too loud - now, I understand people after alcohol speak louder, but there was no music, no dancing, nothing really, just us talking. Now, it's not only being told we were too loud and for us to be quiet - the person told us that they will call the police on us and that we should go to sleep. I'm sorry, but this is absolutely not appropriate to tell your guests when they should be going to sleep. We've packed up our things and left to the beach at that point, but the negative feeling was still there. Why show photos of a nice porch when we can't use it? On the next day, we went out to the shop to buy a few things. When coming back, the owner stopped us and asked if we had bought any alcohol, since the last night was unacceptable and we can't be doing these things. Once again, this is unacceptable and shouldn't take place that grown adults have to "report" their grocery shopping. The place does not prohibit alcohol so why were we checked if we brought any or not? Towards the end of the trip, I've asked if we could get some extra toilet paper and a roll of kitchen towel, since we were running low. To this, I've received a response that we can't, because we should buy those things ourselves. Obviously we need to buy food etc ourselves, but toilet paper? This is a necessity, especially since we bought a new pack and basically left 80% of it in the apartment. It's not about the money since a pack of toilet paper costs less than 3 euro, but the fact that the owner would cheap out on that. Especially the kitchen towel - this was to keep the apartment clean and we were supposed to buy it?

A beautiful and tastefully decorated apartment in a convenient neighbourhood. The host was very helpful as was the host's mother who greeted us. Excellent, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Our host, Angela, was the best host we have ever stayed with. Once we arrived, she was there to show us the apartment and answer any questions we had. The apartment was recently renovated so all the amenities were brand new. We especially loved the big kitchen since we do our own cooking when we travel. And Angela had refreshments and coffee pods for us in the apartment as well. Having a parking space for our car was a huge bonus. Old town is about 10-13 mins away on car or uber. The beach is literally a few feet away from the apartment. our family loved the fact that the beach was so close to the apartment and we spent a lot of our time there. For those that cook their own food, there’s a grocery store across the street and a couple minutes walk away. For those that don’t, there are some restaurants in the area, good ones from what we were told. All in all, Angela’s apartment made our stay in Zadar very memorable and pleasant one. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little studio flat in quiet location. Spotlessly clean, with lovely little touches like chocolates, milk, olive oil, salt & pepper, washing up liquid, a couple of tea bags and coffee, sugar. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom with toiletries and toilet roll, all the basics. Friendly owners who offered to pick us up from the airport for only €20 and said if we needed anything else just ask. The beaches, sea and beach bars were a short stroll away. Supermarket, the bus stop and a couple of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Quiet suburb with trees and birds near some hotels. Old town 10 mins by bus. Perfect location.
