Old Silk Apartments - Luxury Studios, 1 & 2-beds in Coventry City Centre by COVSTAYS

The fact it was a new build meant it was clean and fresh. The apartment was warm without heat on which was perfect. The man I spoke to on booking, as it was a rushed booking, was extremely helpful and I can't thank him enough.

There was nothing we disliked, but there could of been more utensils in the kitchen, as catering for ourselves it was rather limited.

I liked the appartament. It was big and really well decorated

The location.

The fact of calling a number to have the key is not very convenient as we are not British. Receiving the code on Booking account together with the instructions to fing the lockbox would have been preferrable. No hot water for the shower, no possibility to properly close the window (insecurity feeling and hearing each person in the street as if he were in the bedroom). Someone came to fix it when we just left...

Clean warm comfortable. System on line a little bit cumbersome but once sorted access easy

Apartments were nicely finished and quite convenient for the city centre. Beds and pillows were firm. Processes were disastrous (see below) but staff were pleasant and helpful.

Administration was a disaster! Apartments were advertised as having free parking - they haven't. The booking.com website still says this although I queried it over a month ago and was told it was wrong. The guidebook you get when you book says the local car park is £3.50/day; it's actually £6.95/day. They don't give you a code for the lockbox in advance; we got an email after lunch on arrival day to say we should phone for the code on arrival. What a cack-handed method! Also, the WiFi codes in the guidebook had changed but the info in the apartment hadn't been updated.
