Los Erizos (Apartamento en primera Linea de mar)

Great location on Playa Blanca main promenade overlooking the Marina and the Ferry arrivals. Very well equipped apartment. From stove to oven and microwave, toaster, kettle , coffee filter and Dolce pod machine. Functioning dishwasher and partially functioning washing machine ( will wash but not rinse or spin but spacious space to hang them in the balcony). There are plenty of spices in the drawers ( salt/pepper, oregano, , cinnamon ,hot sos ) , vinegar and oil for cooking ( if one must, on holidays). Plenty of pots and pans and plates and glasses of all kinds. Quiet despite being on top of restaurants. Excellent to relax on the balcony if it’s too windy on the beach. Very close to shops and supermarkets.

The electricity went off a few times. Looked all over the house to see if something is short circuiting. Couldn’t find anything. The host was very helpful and promptly replied to the messages. We easily located the fuse box and flipped the switch. There were some renovations happening in the building so we thought that’s what was causing it. Had to buy milk a few times as it was going off. Really a first world problem.

What a fantastic apartment! Brilliant location with superb views. It's equipped with absolutely everything you need. Communication with Raquel was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Self catering , local to plenty of shops / bars & restaurants - Stunning views from the apartment overlooking the bay, large balcony with comfortable loungers & chairs, we had the sun on the balcony from early morning until early evening throughout September. Right on the seafront but extremely quiet. Quality furniture within the apartment, comfy bed, smart Tv albeit with little or no English channels that we could find but, we used Prime/Youtube & Netflix for our purpose. Plenty of crockery/cutlery & glassware , decent dishwasher & oven. We went as couple but the apartment could take 4 , two pull out beds in lounge.

Bathroom was dated, slight mould in the shower, little or no cleaning materials left for the guests, hence we bought our own. Hot water in short supply, approximately an hr between showers if you are a couple. Cleaning/cleaners came twice in 18 nights, not enough in my view, also extremely late in the day 1600 hrs. Also, a nice touch would have been to have left some milk & basics for guests arriving late, luckily the local supermarket was open until 22.00 , a short walk away. Yes, you know what the cost is before you go but, i believe it’s the small touches that add to the experience.

A wonderful apartment with a stylish, light and bright living/kitchen area and a large terrace overlooking the sea, which was heaven. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom. The property is well located for nearby bars, restaurants, supermarket and the beach.

The only concern we had was that the shower drained very slowly indeed. Apart from that, excellent!
