Boutique Camp Getaway at Roaring River

It was nothing like advertised. I walked in the tent and it smelled like mold. The comforter on the queen size bed was stained. The bedding on the bunk beds were sleeping bags. No electricity. I called to cancel the booking and was told no refund. Very unprofessional customer service.

The tent was fun and clean. The sunsets were amazing.

The only thing I could suggest would be handicap bars in the bathrooms.

When you check in you are greeted with the most friendliest person (I think one of the owners.) Check in was a breeze and we felt at home as soon as we opened the door. We only stayed the one night, but we have already talked about coming back and this will be our go to place when coming to Roaring River.

Very friendly, beautiful setting, clean facilities! We enjoyed our stay and would go there again.

I have no complaints, it was a great getaway.

Rental agreement requirement was not disclosed before purchasing, nor was it available for reading before signing. Neither was the $150 security deposit disclosed before purchasing. The ad showed a toilet and sink in the tent, but the closest one was over 100 yards away. It's not convenient at all. (A hospital potty chair would be better than nothing unless you want guests digging a latrine nearby.)

It was peaceful and relaxing. They had a nice fire pit and picnic table. The area is very nice and not far from the fishing.

That there was not a water faucet down in the area we stayed at. I suggest maybe a communinial one just in case someone needs more than what they bring. Other than that, there was nothing to really dislike about it.
