I didn’t like anything about the apartment

The apartment is not suitable to be rented, because there is noises coming from upper floors and neighbors. I really had bad experience. We have arrived at 10PM on Friday night, at 5AM in the morning the upper floors guys were making alot of noises, we couldn’t sleep at all. On Saturday from 9PM in the night till 9AM in the morning the neighbors they have been drinking and hitting our walls and doors and playing music so loud, we couldn’t sleep the whole night. I wish booking.com should consider this and don’t allow their customers to have a bad experience in their vacation house.

This places is in a quiet neighborhood It’s in front of the green lake on map, but you can’t see the lake, have to walk across the street to see it. It’s nice to walk around the lake to see sunset. The unit D is clean and modern (modern door lock, modern microwave and coffee machine😄) It has everything you need, especially the kitchen stuff, so you can cook simple stuff. The owner is prompt. Unit D is in the basement, so few stairs down, no big deal, all unites in this house require taking stairs. The water pressure of the bathroom shower is bit low, runs small amount. Overall this is a great place to stay.

The one thing that was really disappointing was the bed sheet smells. It might have been the blanket that they don’t wash it every time after guests use. So the whole bed smells bad….

It was clean

There was construction going on. The power went off. There was only cold water. The house was on a very busy street. We had said we needed 3 beds, knowing one would be the sofa in the living room, but no bedding was provided for the sofa. We had to call the owners about the power, the cold water, and the bedding.

The information provided was false- There are 3 or 4 units. The one advertised had a view, balcony, and was a "villa". I paid extra to have those features. What was provided was a unit D, also called a "villa", which was a dark, small basement unit. A full kitchen was advertised. What was there was a small counter with a double hot plate. When I read the fine print on the switch, a garden view was advertised. There was a window well view of the next building and garbage cans. No garden.

Modern and renovated

No toaster, coffee machine refused to work the second day, dishwasher upper tray broken

Great location, unit was updated and clean and good value for the money. On a bus line and within walking distance to Lake, restaurants, grocery store, zoo. Communication with owners was great.

Beds were too firm. Upstairs neighbors were very loud after 10pm, walking around the unit and running water, made it hard to sleep.

It’s close to the lake and very clean and updated.

We received the directions for parking, etc about an hour before arriving. Since I was driving I couldn’t really review them in time and then when I did stop I had poor cell service so it was confusing where to park and find the house. The directions need to state more clearly the roads you should park on vs a map with red lines and no street names. Also it isn’t clear in the description that it is street parking (I guess I should have figured it out since it is in Seattle.) Then since the property is a basement space it is loud, could hear neighbors all night even with the soundproofing. There doesn’t seem to be AC, says there is but we couldn’t get it to work. It was okay but a bit stuffy at times.
