Air conditioning worked fairly well

They falsely advertised and listed as amenities: a sofa bed, a pool (the pool was even included in the title of the listing) and a washing machine. I booked this, because I needed 3 comfortable beds to accommodate my family, and because we intended to have a relaxing vacation focused around swimming and hanging out by a pool. When we arrived, we discovered they lied, many times over. There was no sofa bed. There was a ratty sofa with patches, that didn’t even have moveable / removable cushions. When I asked the host where the sofa bed was, they stated that there was in fact no sofa bed, but an air mattress in a closet that we could use if we wanted. Additionally, there was no onsite pool! We looked around the entire apartment complex in the heat. No pool. When I messaged them an inquiry about the pool, they said the pool wasn’t onsite, but that we could use a pool at a different address- which was a 5 minute drive away- and we went to the pool at the different apartment complex- it was completely filthy, with dirt, debris, sticks, and floating dead insects in it. It was not useable because it was so filthy (and we never saw a single other human use the pool- which was no surprise because it was not maintained/ not safe to use) On top of all of this- there was no washing machine! When we asked the host- they said their was a coin operated laundry room we could use, at a different building. Not only did they lie about these crucial amenities, but the apartment itself had major problems including an ant infestation (they showed up in shower and kitchen whenever we used water) poor water pressure, and a broken shower handle, as well as visible mold and water damage near vents/ on ceilings, and cracking, and stains on ceiling/ near AC vents, as well as mildew/ mold smell. I came from California, to visit family that lives outside of Austin- so there was no time to find a new place to stay- we were stuck staying here.

Clean and well maintained apartment. Great responsiveness and communication with hosts.

Some confusion at the time of check-in (address given by Booking different from the one given by the business app). The towels looked cheap. Also, the exterior could be cleaner. The stairs weren’t clean and I saw some cockroaches outside upon my arrival which initially turned me off.

We liked the modern decor and simple, comfortable living. It was very clean and the fact that you had cleaning supplies was helpful as well so that we wouldn't leave a mess behind.

We didn't like that the shower rod kept falling down so the shower was leaving a water mess on the floor and toilet but cleaned up before we left.
