It was clean and our host very courteous. He even offered us the use of a washing machine.

Sadly a few issues. Shower cold, no plug for wash basin, no shower mat which made it dangerous stepping from shower onto wet floor. Only one towel provided for two people. No plug or wash bowl for kitchen sink. No tea towel provided. Lop sided camp bed, too low and lumpy pillows. Wall clock not working (battery?) although space limited, it would have been nice to have a chair to sit on.

The hosts were very nice and gave me a quick tour to best explain the features of the studio. There is a parking space and the location has a few places to eat around (walking distance). The place was clean and ready if wanted to cook anything. Electrical heaters were provided as well as free Wifi password.

The parking spot is very small and is met with many flying bugs in the morning. Although I knew the location was close to the airport, it is right underneath the landing path and so noise can be a bit of an issue. The sofa bed mattress should really be changed as it wasn't really flat and not the most comfortable to sleep in.

Shower was an abomination of turn on the basin tap to make the shower work then jump between boiling and freezing water. Access was via a gate that did not work Heating failed and was very cold

Not clean and suitably prepped for stay. Bin was full and sinks not cleaned.

The location was ideal between the two work locations I had to work.

It had a keypad entry and couldn’t see any means to lock from the inside. The place looked like the previous person had just left. A washed up plate and utensils on the side. A scruffy kettle and in the unplugged fridge a bottle of curdled milk. In the bathroom the bin was full with the previous occupants rubbish. The toilet was filthy!! Luckily I had a surgical glove with me so used the little amount of toilet roll left to clean it with the hand soap before I could even use it. The bed was a sofa bed which was comfortable enough and looked clean and freshly made. Although I slept on my dressing gown just in case! There was a very loud clock which was more disturbing than the planes. At least the planes cease to a minimum overnight … the clock disturbed my sleep. If it wasn’t for the fact I’d turned up at 8pm and was leaving at 6am the following morning I would have probably left to find alternate accommodation!

A warm and friendly host who went out of his way to help make the stay very enjoyable.

It was fine for what I wanted, which was somewhere comfortable to stay, near to Heathrow terminal 5.
