Minos Beach Art Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels

Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist wirklich sehr schön und sehr gut unterhalten. Wir haben alle Restaurants des Hotels probiert und es waren alle ohne Ausnahme ausgezeichnet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Gym ist sehr klein und dunkel. Die Standard-Bungalow-Zimmer sind seehr klein für so ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Falls man es sich leisten kann würde ich unbedingt die Superieur Bungalows odr ein Standardzimmer im Hauptgebäude nehmen.

Location was perfect & it’s doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Was great to just be able to take a few steps and be in the crystal clear water right outside our bungalow. The food was really great & that’s something that’s very close to the top of my must have list. Couldn’t fault the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes and also the drinks

There were a few red flags of note. Those that are in the waterfront bungalows will be using the shared beach area & when we visited it had plastic waste floating at the side of the bay. Something that should not be seen in a 5 star hotel. And also something that could easily be maintained by staff. Staff seem to be more than willing to carry out their job, so I presume this oversight is due to an oversight from management. Also another small beached area has alarmist been bag like loungers and several of those had ripped fabric and just in general the area was not regularly reset, tidied and organised. When we first checked into our superior waterfront bungalow, we were extremely disappointed. One of the sun loungers outside our bungalow had a giant rip in the fabric & then the room was a dark and dingy space. The bungalows are made as a block of 3 and the middle bungalows have no windows into the main sleeping/ living space. The only light entering is through the front door. We looked to double check we weren’t making a mistake and the website example of the room shows a window next to the bed. We complained to staff and were offered to be shown another bungalow that did include a window, that would be available for our entire stay, but not until the next day. The bungalow we moved to was exactly what we were expecting to be staying in. It was lighter and brighter inside, more spacious and even had a larger sofa and mini bar area compared to the first bungalow. We spent the rest of our stay convinced that we must have accidentally been given a lower category room, only to be told that the first one was indeed the same category room. I would categorically never pay £800/1000€ a night for that first bungalow we were allocated. It’s criminal to charge that much for such an inferior room. Last reg flag was the disappearing act of my belongings left next to our reserved sun loungers located right outside our bungalows.

All the benefits of being around natural scenery, but coupled with the convenience of a resort. Hard to find a resort with better beaches in a natural cove.

The sunbeds could be more comfy - they’re all flat with no way to prop up the back. Especially around the pool.

Beautiful place to stay! Highly recommend!
