B&B La Fontanina

It's rare to find a property owner like this. He's very attentive and nice. He gave us great recommendations, and they really worked! We had an amazing dinner and went to a concert thanks to him. You can really tell if someone loves his town! The location is the best you could hope for. It's super central, and the fast transit bus from the free parking lot stops literally 30 meters from the B&B. The room was very well-equipped with an extremely clean bathroom (I'm very sensitive to that). The furniture is fancy and cozy at the same time. Breakfast is served at the downstairs bar, which opens soon. They provide THE kind of breakfast you want to eat during your holiday in Italy.

Struttura internamente ristrutturata al meglio, mantenendo e valorizzando il palazzo d'epoca con arredamenti assolutamente consoni al resto. Proprietario molto accogliente e disponibile sia come orario di check- in che per altre esigenze tipo deposito bagagli in loco. Cucina disponibile per mangiare lì direttamente, anche se noi abbiamo fatto solo una notte di passaggio e non siamo riuscite ad usufruirne. Location vicino al parcheggio multipiano Il Campo, per il quale il proprietario dà un voucher di 10 euro su un prezzo giornaliero di 35, e vicina alla Pinacoteca, dunque posizione ottimale. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

The proprietress is extremely kind and genuinely concerned with your comfort. Her son went to great lengths to assure that I had access to all that Siena had to offer in food, entertainment, and cultural experiences. Much appreciated! The property has an ideal location to the Duomo and Piazza del Campo. Everything was just steps away. And, the room was very pretty. There is always something happening in the streets of Siena, so you may want earplugs. This was an easy place to stay while walking the Via Francigena.
