Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Zentral mitten in Siena. Unser Gastwirt war zuvorkommend, hat uns im Vorfeld Informationen bzgl des Parkens mitgeteilt. Gibt Tipps bzgl Sehenswürdigkeiten, kulinarischem Essen, Wegbeschreibungen. Das Frühstück direkt unten im Café war top. Wichtig: man befindet sich in Italien und da bekommt man ein italienisches Frühstück. Die Toskana ist ein Traum. Siena wird oft als die "kleine" Schwester von Florenz bezeichnet. Sie ist klein, überschaubar, hat Charm, man fühlt sich hier wohl. Siena hat nicht diesen Großstadtcharakter. Ich liebe sie.

Ci siamo fermati una sola notte ma l'host si è prodigato in consigli per usufruire al meglio del poco tempo a disposizione, indicandoci luoghi in cui mangiare ed eventi. Abbondante la colazione inclusa nel bar/ pasticceria sottostante. La camera è spaziosa e arredata in linea con lo stabile d'epoca, l'ascensore porta direttamente nell'alloggio. Torneremo sicuramente in futuro!

"För dig som aldrig vill glömma hur trevligt det är att vistas i vackra Siena och mer eller mindre känna dig som hemma, ä"

Läget var enastående för en som studerar en 2 veckors sommarkurs på Rinaldo Franci musikkonservatorium, en del av Accademia Chigiana, som också var supernära. Rummen är vackra och köket perfekt för att laga sina dagliga måltider. Michele som driver stället är en underbar människa och jobbar som ingen annan för att se till att alla har det bra på B&B La Fontanina.

Excellent location. Beautiful rooms and very comfy beds. Quiet location late evenings. Michele the owner/manager is super helpful, provided all the information needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He also was super flexible to help with information regarding parking, and luggage storage. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. A suggestion to customers is to please communicate your exact time of arrival, so it facilitates your check in (but this was not a problem as Michele was there promptly to support). Thank you Michele for not just running a business, but putting your heart into it.
