Room 2 Oleander Hotel Walk to Cruise Terminal, Restaurants & The Strand

I stayed here the night before my cruise. It is a small hotel that really felt more like having my own room in someone’s home. It is comfortable, quiet, safe, easy to get in and out of. And the price is right. It has a nice outside seating area if you want to hang out with friends and enjoy the sea air. It is walking distance to the strand and if I hadn’t been alone I would have taken advantage of that. It is also very close to the cruise port, which was nice. I got to the port in less than 5 minutes. I had questions upon checking in and the owner was responsive, even though not on site. I had already reserved this room for a November cruise and very pleased that I did. I will definitely continue to use this hotel in the future.

I didn’t see the numbers on the parking spaces so I was a bit confused. But I expect that was me. After I was assured they were there, I looked a bit closer and there they were. They’re not at the top of the parking spaces, but at the bottom and the numbers are painted black, rather than a brighter color that might stand out, so it might be difficult to see if you check in after dark.

Convenient to the wedding venue we were attending. Great rental and we loved it. Highly recommend for all. So convey to the famous downtown Galveston area.

Being locked out. But I was able to get in the front.

Not enough milks had to use tap water for coffee machine ..

Wish there was a toilet on property because we could had to be out of room at 11am & weren’t being picked up until 12.30

Clean, cute, loved the decor, friendly and helpful staff, Keuring and Hershey miniatures in room,

Only downside = it's loud in the halls - you can hear everything going on in the hallway.
