O Thy Homestay Hue

Cute garden and cafe, good price value for the room. And close to the river and pagoda.

Beautiful garden, gorgeous plants. Rooms would have potential but are not well maintained. I was welcomed by an employee at the entrance at arrival who helped me carry my luggage. Response time of the accommodation to my messages was fast.

My room was not soundproofed at all, I could hear every sound from the garden and the neighbouring rooms. Due to the cafe in the garden the room was noisy, which made my stay not relaxing. I was woken up by music (with bass) played by the employees of the cafe at 6.30/7 on both days of my stay (the music is louder and more stressful before the first coustumers arrive). Also, the cafe is popular in the evenings thus it's noisy until 9.30 pm. Moreover, the hotel has only one bicycle (which is in very poor condition). Also I was only able to use it on my second day as the employee at the bar told me there are no bicycles at all. That is why I had to contact the hotel via booking and had to exchange several messages until it was arranged that I could use the one bicycle. Also the bathroom was not very clean, there was dirt on the ground and spiderwebs in the corners. Also, I found it odd that I was asked to pay right away, the minute I put down my luggage, before even having had a hot shower after a day in the rain. I'd recommend to stay somewhere else and have a coffee instead to enjoy the garden.

Not clean and huge spiders in the rooms. I was the only guest in the 10 bed dorm and it seemed like it was used more private and less for guests. I booked for two nights but I left after one. I felt extremely uncomfortable.
