Casa Amelia - Charme in Taormina

Prime location, just several stairs from the main street. You can see the sea from the window. Every bedroom (and a living room) has a TV. In bedrooms it is a smart TV, so you have netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube available. You can use the roof terrace, it is available to guests. The kitchen is well equipped, with coffee machine, juicer, many of the other relevant stuff. You need to get used to wash the dishes with two sincs and the tap, but it is not a big deal.

I was expecting to find two separate beds in the second bedroom, but it was in fact one double king size bed.

The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. They were amazing, and we miss them already. We for sure will return. The property is very spacious, very well decorated and comfortable, with beautiful views of the sea and Mount Etna. It’s in the perfect location next to the main street. The hosts recommended a few places for dinner and deserts, and we loved them all. We were sad to leave and hope we can return again soon.

It is centrally located, clean, and quite comfortable. The top terrace is huge and it is amazing! You can see Etna erupting on a clear evening and the sunsets/sunrises are stunning from this terrace. The hosts, Ugo and Justyna, are truly amazing hosts and will make sure your stay is perfect. I already want to go back to Taormina and stay at this location again and again!

This apartment is very charming and decorated with style. The owner was very helpful and great at communication. The views of the old town were fantastic from the small balconies. She provided excellent parking advice and we didn't move our car for the entire stay. Etna was "active" which made our pics from the huge park even more interesting. Such an enjoyable town this time of year.

If you want to stay in the center of Taormina this is perfect location in a beautiful private apartment with a perfect host. We were treated like family by Ugo and Justyna. We booked our short 2 night stay very last minute late the night before arrival and Ugo was free to pick us up from the train station. They kindly gave us a quick tour and lay of the land on our drive to the apartment and helped us with our bags into the beautiful apartment. Its exceptionally clean and very comfortable for a short stay but a longer stay would have been great to take advantage of everything. The rooftop balcony has amazing views and catching sunrise up there was epic and easy. The apartment had plenty of amenities we were able to do a small load of laundry, use the kitchen for a meal and relax on the couch. Taormina is beautiful and Ugo was one of the best host we've ever had anywhere in the world. He was even able to drop us off early in the morning back at the train station so we could have cafe together before saying goodbye. I fully recommend anyone looking to visit Taormina book this apartment. If you are arriving with your own car please be prepared for a proper Sicilian/Italian experience with no driving or parking close to the apartment and having to carry bags a distance and up stairs. Even if Ugo is not available to assist with every step its still worth it to reach this lovely apartment.

Everything was perfect.

Location was great. Large space to spread out. Shower and laundry was nice. Windows and shutters are very good for noise reduction.

Beds were hard and springy, would suggest replacing the mattress. Oven did not work and was told after I had already shopped.

Fantastic location, beautiful and clean apartment with style, terrace with fantastic view to the beautiful city of Taormina and Etna- you can enjoy it with bottle of Wine, which our host leave us as "welcome drink". 110% reccomendation!! Our host Ugo and his wife were amazing, friendly, helpfull and fantastic. No parking, but Ugo help us to park the car without any problem in Taormina, guided us through the city and help us with all neccessary info .... From our point to view, hart to find better place in better host in the whole Sicily😃

Everything! Especially the roof top terrace with its 360° view is stunning and unforgettable. You can enjoy the view to the Etna, the sea, the mountains and the ancient Greek theatre and have great breakfast and dinner or enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine! Above all, UGO the host is such a open hearted lovely person who makes you directly feel like at home! The appartment Casa Amelia is located directly in the heart of Taormina, just a narrow street away from Corso Umberto, but absolutely quiet. Very well equipped flat. UGO was so friendly and helpful and picked us up from the bus stop, helped us with the luggage, showed us around in the beautiful flat and terrace and even gave a water, juice, cake and small souvenirs for free to welcome us warmly. Always reachable on whats app and great directions even before we arrived in Taormina. Never had such a welcoming great experience as with UGO and his wife Justyna's hospitality!! Definitely can highly recommend and will come back! Thank you UGO!

This place is got charm and location is superb!

Getting the keys was just OK. We scrambled to a bit getting the access code to the lockbox. Instructions were kind of on-the-fly. Also please mention to the guests that taxi drop-off is not so close and you have to carry luggage down considerable stairs, alleyways / slitas.
