Room near East Midland Airport 7

The room had an en suite bathroom and lots of space. It was relatively cheap for 2 nights and there is a CO-OP fairly close to the accommodation. The check-in/check-out is very easy as the owner sends you a door code to enter. The keys are pretty much on the door and when you leave you just put it back in the door lock. There is a bus station close by as well for Skylink.

Since the room is pretty much in the rear of a restaurant, you hear staff banging and crashing plates and pots, shouting things at each other until they close at 11pm. For someone who had to wake up at 5am, this was really uncomfortable and extremely disappointing. The rules clearly state that guests have to respect others and keep noise down, but I guess this doesn't matter to the restaurant staff... The bed was uncomfortable too as I would sink right through the mattress. You could tell from the streaks on the mirror that whoever cleans the room doesn't do a good job. I shared my room with multiple arachnids, but at least the towels and toilet and shower were clean. The pillow smelled like it had been in use before. I know it's not really a 5-star hotel room, but you would at least expect to have a clean room and quiet nights.

Tbh, the bed covers smelt of stagnant water. The room wasn't clean, there was a huge spider and web under the window next to the wardrobe, there was no light in the toilet. There were pubes on the toilet shower mat.

Its cheap and right in the village. They weee also lovely and sorted my key early

I expected basic and generally all was fine. The room had a funny smell though and the towel smelt musty. I didn't want to use it to shower with so that was a shame. The lamp didn't work but in all honesty, the lamp was unnecessary. I just dont see the point in putting a lamp in unless it works

Cheap, convenient to ema

First night could hear the pots and pans in restaurant. Second night restaurant closed could hear the person snoring in the next room. Walls very thin

Nice room and secure carpark

The rooms are comfortable, clean and cheap. The restaurant also does really good food .
