One Drake Road Hotel

Very welcoming, warm and charismatic boutique hotel. Lovely lounge, if we had stayed longer we'd have had drinks by the fire. Perfect central location, would/will choose again next time we stay in Tavistock.

No complaints, except perhaps the cafetiere was only big enough for one mug, and the house coffee deserved a second.

Decoration. My wife liked all the Neil's yard products.

Tall wobbly bookcase by the bed so propped it up on one side with a book! Faulty lock on bedroom door meant leaving the bedroom open whether we were occupying it or not. Access code for the front door on booking confirmation was incorrect. The bed was incredibly low. Owners not present on arrival. Following morning they were still absent so we just left.

Lovely, well presented , clean property, in a perfect location .

The only very slight downside is there is no parking , although it was easy to park not too far away & the bathroom was shared with one other room. However this would definitely not stop me from booking a stay here again.
