La casa di Dante

Very clean, very spacious, great location (super central, but not loud), great host. The host even picked us up at the airport on arrival and dropped our bags to the train station on departure (for a small fee, cheaper than taxi and luggage storage).

Host didn’t speak much English so we conversed in Spanish or used messaging (for translation). This is not a problem, but I write this just so guests know they should speak Italian or have phone data for translation.

The property was excellent. It inspired the old Palermo style of living, with the urniture depicting the old century, spacious, with modern amenities. Location was near all museums, famous locations, and Palermitano style of living. Domenico, our host, went way beyond what was expected of a host. Domenico was extremely helpful in pointing out places to go, eat and even helped us with parking and directions. We will be back, next time in the Palermo area.

Kitchen was a little outdated, but functional. Neighborhood is being renovated and has a positive future.

We had an amazing stay at La casa di Dante! The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. It’s in the middle of the historic center and just a few steps away from the market. Domenico was an excellent host, he was so kind and communicative, he directed us over the phone to avoid the ZTL zones and even saved us a parking spot. Palermo is an incredible city that is really worth visiting and you won’t regret staying at Dante’s for an authentic Sicilian experience!

Top Lage, höchst modern und ein sehr lieber Gastgeber. Besser kann man in Palermo sicher nicht übernachten. 100% Weiterempfehlung. Kostenlose Parkplätze 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

We loved our stay at La casa di Dante! The location was great, we were really close to a local market that sells fruits, vegetables, bread and food. It was a walking distance of 5-15 minutes to everything we wanted to see. It was really clean and all necessities were available. The AC worked wonderfully. There is an elevator in the building. The apartment is beautifully decorated, it looks like you’re walking into a museum. The service was excellent and the host responded to all our questions within minutes.
