My stay could have been better. The hosts were fav helping me out and giving great tips to make my stay better. The room was majestic and the garden is beautiful. 100 would stay there again.

Great location for walking and a beautiful garden to relax in! Friendly, helpful owners who make you feel at home. Great local pubs for eating out.

Very comfortable with everything you need.

Gorgeous house, very cosy. Room was lovely with a comfortable bed, two seater couch, small fridge, TV, kettle, and private bathroom attached. Ample wardrobe space. Owners are warm and welcoming - Jan makes her own marmalade and has won many gold awards for it; definitely try the earl grey one. The cutest cat and dog. Stream nearby with a plunge pool. WiFi available on the room. Stunning views of the peaks from the window and you can spot some red squirrels about.

Bathroom might be a bit cramped if you’re on the taller side but nothing that really bothered me too much.

Very comfortable bed. Good powerful shower and easy to operate. There was a thermostat in the room so it could be set to whatever suits the guests.. It was very tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and very happy to share their knowledge. Lovely breakfasts, and don't forget to try the prize-winning marmalade. If you need tips on where to find the best ice cream, ask Les.

Fridge was smaller than expected.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Damson Ghyll is set in peaceful surroundings with fabulous views of the nearby fells. The hosts were very welcoming and most helpful. The breakfast was more than ample which set you up nicely for a walk in the nearby fells. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and hope to do so in the very near future.

Ease of access, excellent breakfast, rural location, local pub had good food and drink.
