Casa do Sol Faro

The location of this lovely town house was excellent and above what we had expected. There was so much space in the house with a stunning rooftop area with BBQ facilities. We were able to entertain family on one evening which was so special. It's near the Toasties Restaurant which is a place we love to eat. The place was so well presented and we could not fault it.

Absolutely nothing

It was a lovely place to stay for our final few days in Portugal. Extremely clean, with a lovely modern style. Whilst the terrace doesn’t have a spectacular view, the luxury of having any outdoor space in the centre of Faro outweighs this. We thoroughly enjoyed having a glass of wine and a BBQ on the terrace in the evening. The property stayed nice and cool (granted we went in Sep when temperatures drop slightly) and we only had to use the air con in the bedroom a couple of times (though it’s in every main room where you’d need it). The location was fantastic as you can walk pretty much anywhere in central Faro in approx. 15 mins at most. Minimarkets and bigger supermarkets are available in the local area, which were great for picking up essentials. We actually found it to be quite quiet when we stayed, and slept well, though we weren’t there at a weekend. Our host was extremely friendly and provided lots of recommendations. They were also very responsive on messages. If we were to return to Faro we’d stay here again.

Property was like on the pictures. Nice option for barbecue and really close to the old town. Lot of good local restaurants and bars around. Our host was very helpful and responsive.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable also the sofa for two people is not that suitable.

Everything was great, the house is beautiful and comfortable

It is self catered - but kitchen facilities were very poor - no spatula for frying eggs - only spoons and ladles. No oven gloves to handle hot plates from oven which were a major health hazard.

Central - close to all amenities.

Brilliant fab property near the bakery and some great bars and restaurants. Close to the centre and excellent roof terrace. There is no noise when windows closed.

Nothing at all

Central location just a short walk from the marina. The property was very clean and everything was in good order. Very pretty inside, lovely decorative touches.

As we arrived at night it was difficult to find parking and the street on first impressions did not appear very attractive with lots of graffiti and unkempt buildings. However, once familiar with the area we found it rather charming.

We liked everything from the initial greeting right through to the comfort of the property and ease of use and the location is fantastic

It was very clean,spacious & modern . sizeable balcony . Location is great close to town.
