The location is definitely the best part about this place! The bed is incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean.The host is incredibly hospitable and a great communicator. They reply very quickly to both messages and phone calls, offer excellent local tips, and are genuinely eager to help with anything you need.

The only thing I didn't like was that we only stayed for 4 nights! I really wish we had another 2 or 3 days there

The location is amazing, at the edge of the old town close to the palace and an easy walk to a tonne of bars and restaurants. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and pillows, as well as a desk and arm chair. We appreciated the small fridge to keep drinks cold given how hot it was when we were there. Also, the AC worked well! Despite that the area is busy, the room was quiet with the windows closed. The host Matko was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He met us when we arrived and checked us into the room a bit early. He also responded quickly when we messaged him about check out. I would definitely stay here again - the stone interior is really cool, the room is clean and modern, and the host made sure everything went well for our stay!

Nothing - we had no issues! Just to note, the room is up two flights of stairs in case so that could be an issue for some.

The location is in the heart of old town and updated.

This property offered parking as a benefit when booking, as noted in attached picture, but it’s located ~6 minutes away in public parking. First parking lot was full thus had to drive to second lot. It costs 30 Euros per day. Should not be offered as a benefit. Expect party noise late on a Friday and Saturday nights.

The staff was amazing! They were available almost 24/7 I broke my key card and they came to fix it right away. I also left my AirPod at the hotel and the mailed it back to the United States and told me not to worry about paying for the shipping incredible people.

Matko was the absolute best - by far, one of the most accommodating host. My husband and I arrived at 7 AM and asked Matko if an early check-in was possible. He agreed and this allowed us to recuperate from our long trip so we can explore later that evening. He also allowed a late check-out because our next hotel didn't allow early check-ins. During our time there, he was always responsive. Great customer service and communication skills overall! It's worth mentioning that the room was immaculate. I'm a bit of a clean freak so I like to wipe/disinfect everything when I stay in unfamiliar roons but it was honestly spotless. I didn't see any dust which was unusual. There was a mini fridge stocked with 2 water bottles; tea kettle; mini toiletries; hair dryer, etc. The building was in a prime location. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It only took 2-3 minutes to walk to the city center. I can't tell you how many times I walked to buy some souvenirs or grabbed a bite and appreciated that it took less than 5 minutes to walk back to drop off the souvenirs or take a nap. Better yet, i was able to wait out a rainstorm and headed back out when it cleared up. This was a gem of a place I happened to find while looking for an affordable place to stay.

It was a little difficult locating the building. There aren't any signs and google maps direct you to a restaurant (Misto) instead. My husband and I walked around the building for a good 20 minutes before we figured out the number of the building (11) was posted next to the entrance door. I've attached a picture of the entrance. We also learned that this was an apartment complex that also had Airbnbs from another person in the building. Beware that this is an older building so there are no elevators and footsteps can be heard above your room. We had a rather loud stomper above us the last 2 nights. If you're a light-sleeper, this might pose a problem. However, the building itself is soundproof from the outside--which is helpful because there's a bar directly below with frequent patrons. Water heater/boiler is relatively small. I guess I'm spoiled because I like to take 30-45 minute showers but can only take 10 minute ones here. I still made it work. There is no daily housekeeping which we were fine with. We try not to be messy and take out our trash daily. There are trash bins a few steps outside of the building. Matko was able to provide us with fresh towels when we asked so this really wasn't a problem. My main suggestion: I would recommend adding towel hooks. We ended up hanging our towels on the edge of the door or the chairs. This wasn't ideal because it takes a while for the towels to dry off. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. The location can't be beat so if you can handle the above items, this is the place for you!

The location was amazing. Also the personal greeting for checkin was a nice touch
