Great location, beautiful little cottage

Lovely little cottage in the centre of town. We had all we needed to cook and to enjoy a fab weekend. The bedroom was ideal for 3 of us. We used the hot water bottles provided in the first night; they were a lovely surprise after a chilly day out in the open. The beds were comfortable and clean and the decor was lovely.

Parking was a little walk from the cottage, but it wasn’t too bad. The cottage was quite dimly lit due to the quaint windows; brighter bulbs may have helped. There was dust in the pans and the colander; we needed to wash them before using. There were no coffee pods for the machine, luckily we’d taken our own coffee and filter jug.

Fab little cottage. Very compact, but everything you need. Little touches including dog biscuits for our dog ❤, toiletries etc. Central to the main street and right down the lane from the Green Dragon Pub, fantastic (and was never rowdy or loud by the way 😊) Food was absolutely spot on & service great too 👏

Parking, but this is to be expected. Its a little cottage off a lane. This didn't bother us as there was parking round the corner, just nice to be able to keep an eye on the car. This is the only bad point i can say, although was not a problem at all as we parked just round the corner and was free too!

The location to the centre is good. The cottage is quaint with character.

The cottage in general was not clean e.g. there were cobwebs and dust especially in the bedroom, dirty plug holes and the fire had not been cleaned out from the last guests. There is no shower other than a shower head in the bath which is very tricky to get to a warm temperature it’s either boiling or freezing, this wasn’t clear on the booking. Furniture in general are very worn and uncomfortable and need updating especially the sofa and bed. Emailed to ask for walks and contact numbers prior to stay and had no response from owners.

Beautiful little cottage which is perfectly located just off the market square. Very cosy and cute. The owners have thought through all the details and it has everything you need. Love the decor and the location. Was perfect for our stop off coming back from Scotland

Nothing- all amazing

The location was fabulous, literally just steps away from the Main Street. The owners were very responsive to messages and very friendly and polite.

Lots of items needed replacing in terms of spatulas etc very worn. The single bed mattress was very uncomfortable. A starter pack for the fire would be beneficial. The property was very cold on arrival. Definitely not big enough for four people to stay comfortably

Garage advertised but not useable for a car

The location was excellent for both the town, (shops, restaurants pub )and trips out to either the moors or the Dales. Communication (Via email) with the owner was quick. The property is quaint, warm and has all that you would require.

A minor issue with bedside lamp (it did not work). Owner was quick to respond
